Won’t Be Tamed | 2025 | Site Specific installation and performance Aosta, Italy

“Marijke de Pous leads us into a disarming intimacy. The body and everyday gestures become the backdrop for a vulnerability that, far from weakness, becomes a primary strength, an alternative language, an uncomfortable truth.”

- Sanda Sudor

Won't be tamed (2025)

Site specific installation and temporary performative sculpture on the facade of Inarttendu Cultural Association & Gallery for Contemporary Art in Aosta. This piece was made for the opening of my duo exhibit Won’t Be Tamed with artist Alessia Lupo Cecchet as joint second prize winners of the international Arte Alte competition. My contribution was made possible with the generous support of Alina Art Foundation, Innartendu Gallery and CBK Rotterdam.
